you don't really need to do any math yourself. Capfriendly projects us with $10.6m in space next year, so add $1m to that. $11.6m to sign Kakko, Gauthier, Blais, backup goalie, and Strome or a center that replaces him as 2C or 3C if they go with Chytil at 2C.

Awesome thanks. Hopefully Rooney stays as 4C too, he will also be due a raise. Assuming they will since he was protected from Seattle.

Nemeth is a solid PKer. I don’t see him costing them games at all, and I’d rather him blocking slap shots (and break a foot) as opposed to it being Miller-Fox-Lindgren etc. 7th D next year for him.

Just use an abuse him right now imo, you need players like him for that reason. His cap hit isn’t overly detrimental that he needs to go.

It’s the 3rd largest non-NMC contract we have (has a modified NTC shockingly) on the roster past this year. Behind lindgren and goodrow. Lindgren over nemeth every day and twice on Sunday and goodrow’s term is a non starter for a trade probably and for a buyout definitely. Also he’s a -8 which is the worst on the team. His two partners are a combined -6. 0 points to boot. He’s making $2.5m. Do I need to keep going
