As far as why didn't Reaves do anything... The Rangers were up by 1 at the time. You want Reaves going after Subban who would just turtle and Reaves gets an extra minor, or knowing these refs, a double minor. Think people!

It was bad enough that they stopped trying to score with 10 minutes remaining and only a one-goal lead, but when the opposition sends in their #2 netminder cold, why not put pucks on net? That was silly and led to a division rival getting at least one point.

18 pts in 34 games last year for Frolunda. I bet he cools off. Either that or it at least proves how quickly a player can turn it on when he finds confidence and is put in the right situations (18+ min lately).
I do think Laf and Kakko should have spent time in Hartford to develop though. No need to rush them.

Raymond did not receive 18+ minutes per game from the beginning. He showed quickly he deserved more playing time. The other night notwithstanding, Kakko and Laf have not. Hopefully, it's their time.
