Not sure I’ve seen an intentional icing in 3 on 3 before

Wow, that’s not even fair from McDavid.

Who’s coaching this team? It’s always the same story, just sit back on their heels and hope for the best.

Give me Quinn back, they might have been soft as hell but at least they had a system and usually played together.

Everything they’ve accomplished this season aside from Fox, Kreider and Shesty has been luck.

Why does it feel like this team is missing so much compared to last year? Drury has his work cut out for him…

Mcdavid is other worldly.

Good game from zib and Kreider.
Goodrow has to be on the bottom 6.
Nameth, Miller and trouba are awful.
Did Laf and Kakko play?
Georgiev isn’t a backup in the nhl

It’s (frank)ing infuriating man. There’s ZERO system in place. Same story every single game. Few lucky goals on quick strikes but no sustained zone time. In the D zone just sit back on their heels and reach for the puck.

Not impressed by Gallant at all. This isn’t a grinding type team despite adding a few tough players. Many games our bottom 6 stands out most because THEY ACTUALLY FIT THE STUPID SIMPLE SYSTEM. (frank)!!

The mantra of this off-season was “be tough to play against” and I just don’t see it at all

This young team has gotten ‘fortunate’ points early…
Might bode well late in the season when Ranger teams have become more used to each other.
I remain hopeful.

Drury banked on Miller Laf and Kakko being top players. They all currently look like the belong in the ahl

I always found it weird that Gallant never lasted more than 3 years at any of his previous head coaching jobs

certainly not tonight. after the 4th goal they looked scared honestly. that disgusting PP gave Edmonton all the momentum and they really never looked back.

that OT just proved it even more. when have you ever seen fox just hold the puck up in the corner? mcdavid bearing down on him, hugs the boards, looses it and zib's running around like a fish and games over.'

ice was tilted the entire 3rd period too.

Same but starting to understand why. Rather than building a system for your top 6 and dumbing it down for your role players, they are doing the opposite.

Despite their record, Drury can’t be happy. Need a few shakeups. Send Kakko and Laf down together (and pray they dominate), bench Panarin if he keeps disappearing, breakup Trouba and Miller, make a trade. Time for some changes and messages to be sent.

It’s not the coach, or the system, Quinn was no better and his system didn’t work either.

Panarin simply is not the same player he was prior to the Russian incident.

Kakko and Laff are invisible. Maybe too soon to label them busts, but the clock is ticking. Neither can skate at the NHL level.

Miller is the 2021 version of Brady Skjei.

Rangers haven’t hit since the 1st game debacle in Washington, besides Blias. So much for being hard to play against.

Chytil is improving, a move to the wing would help his confidence further. Although he’d need to commit to the work in the corners.

Gorgy is awful.

The sooner Drury realizes the mix is wrong, the sooner he needs to make a blockbuster, and change the direction All of those NMC are going to inhibit his ability, so, prospects have to go.

Trouba should never, ever, be on the ice in OT.

True, plus after Monday they have played only 3 of their first 13 at home, road points are especially valuable this early in the year. They will figure it out. 2 regulation loses in 11 games is great no matter their effort.
