DOC, Simon, and Rodrigues are not just playing for that 12th spot, they are challenging perceived regulars for a spot. All three guys have been really good this season.

Did anyone catch the pregame stat they showed about our record without the big 3? Only caught a quick glance but I swore it was only 7 or 8 games total...that just can't be right, can it?

I can't think of one player who deserves to sit other than Laff. Sully probably won't do it, but I'd reward DOC with a jersey even when guys start returning.

The Maple Leafs pretended they wanted to be there for the first 20 minutes. Then it was open season for the Peguins. No one is holding this team back despite the call ups and guys stepping in. Speaks to the organization's depth. A lot of NHL-caliber players.

Penguins had a lot of puck luck tonight, but Toronto looked disinterested for game #6.

Good teams can always play bad, but if the Pens don't bring their A-game it doesn't matter. Sounds like they didn't take their foot off the gas and IMO that's huge because it's been one of my biggest gripes with this team the last few years.

That game was pure pleasure, hope you all enjoyed our AHL+ team - especially as we have no prospects according 98,47% of the (so/self-called) experts... but yes, just one game - still a memorable one.
