Like I’ve been saying, Matthews only hit the net with 50% of his shots, he’s got a small touch of rust to knock off yet - Dozzer
AM/MM will be fine.
They’ll both finish top 10 in scoring, both will be massive contributors for their countries at the Olympics.
Willy will do his thing, hopefully ups his pt total a bit, and progresses his defensive game.
As long as they have playoff success, none of this poop matters. |

Indeed they will. Marner will get going once Mathews starts zoning in.
The good news for you guys is Matthews to me looked like he gained a step speed wise - this should translate to home being able to get more chances from ‘slashing’ through the offensive zone into open areas with the puck.
I read that he picked up some tips from McDavid (and McDavids skating coach) last couple summers. My guess is he will look more ‘hoppy’ this year. - Big23Questions
Yup he’s going to have a hell of a year in which case Marner will get flying as well. Just had no preseason and it typically takes a game or two for a guy like Matthews to become dominating |

I could see Marner on his line. I could also see someone who can snipe with McDavid as he gets a ton of assists and creates a lot of open space with his speed. - jribout
Bolded: hence Mackinnon is what I think |

I meant 2 snipers or at least 2 that can score goals.

I know you don’t agree but that’s why I hope the leafs never move Bunting from the 2nd line. I think having a pest in front of the net has upped Nylander to a PPG and the way he’s playing (he’s actually got a couple hits and PK time as well) makes me think he’s thriving playing with a guy who plays that style. A balance each other out sort of thing and now JT just has to find that comfortable spot between them |

You got two guys who can score goals, just let one of the best passers in the league compliment that. |

Everybody seems to forget Nylander is young too, okay for the rest of them to be young.
He is by far the best bang for the buck on the team. |

MacKinnon Crosby Marchand - Arctic_AARDVARK
The rumour is MacKinnon will be with the top line and Crosby will have Marchand and Bergeron
I like that second line tbh due to the fact that those two wingers will know each other as well as anyone and Crosby will absolutely be amazing playing with that |

I don’t want to get rid of him! He’s a damn deal now… I mean look what happened to the sens, signed a forty point guy for over 8 million. |

that's a lot of zingy zaps for a 40 pt guy, but I would still take him on my team. anytime. |

With the bonus his cap hit is 7 million but he’s making 9 million in his final year.
Look out, might be another winger getting over 10 lol |

He’s only 24 this year. It’s this year/next year where he gets the chance to prove otherwise, after that it can be considered a negativity to his style if he doesn’t |

Depends on how the team wants to play I guess. Hopefully for the sens he does great except when they’re playing the leafs lol |

Once Matthews starts hitting the net at a higher percentage I’m guessing it will.
Like I said, I’m guessing one of the games this weekend is when that will happen |
