has a couple of goals in preseason, but its a lot to ask to be 2nd line centre to replace Krejci..but worth a shot as he would be playing with Hall and smith..I like Coyle but he is a perfect 3rd line centre...

maybe in a perfect world he would be in Providence earning tons of minutes, but boston has immediate needs..

hope so..I think ritchie is on first line in Toronto...perhaps last year was a wake up call for him

watched yesterdays game...2nd line of Coyle/Hall and Smith were fantastic. Coyle was very goof. 1rst line was good, but goalie made some great saves.

3rd line was meh...havent seen much from Foligno

Ullmark still isnt sharp..im betting Swayman gets the first game

game yesterday was last preseason game...first regular game is Oct 16th...seems odd to have to wait that long

I wasn’t a fan of his in Providence. Thought he was too critical of a couple of prospects there at the time and played favorites with career AHL veterans over prospect development.

Tuukka released from his PTO in Providence today. Was supposed to play last weekend but both games were canceled as the opposing team had Covid.

Looks like they’re bringing him right to Boston for his first game. Unnecessary, in my opinion. No rush, let him get a couple of games in to shake off the rust.

The #NHLBruins are signing 34 y/o G Tuukka Rask to a 1 year $1M (all base salary) contract.

Due to signing during the year, he'll actually earn $545K.

Last year he had a 913 SV% in 24 GP.

he must have known this was a possibility after they signed Ullmark. I don't think they could have gone into the season with Swayman and Vladar..

He has been good for sure but with compacted schedule coming up and COVID, not gonna hurt to have 3 guys that can play.

havent thought about him for years, what a overhyped mess and glad th eBruins missed out

2015 is an ouch...Of the players Bruins passed on, I think the best of the bunch is Kyle Connor. The kid is a dynamo...would have been great in a Bruins jersey..I think a redraft would have him in top 5/6 easy.

Swayman won his Providence debut last night, 19 saves on 20 shots. Goals by Seny, Wagner, and a couple others. Stud notched an assist.

Swayman’s next start will be Sunday.
