Great trade for Edmonton. I am amazed by the sheer number of moves that Carolina has made without managing to make the team any better or to even add assets. Have they won a single trade or gotten any better from any of these moves?

I’m really starting to expect that nothing will change in Pitt except for maybe a 4th line or 3rd pairing plug. Gonna test these ahler’s this year I’m guessing.

Canes signed Raanta for 1 year but lost Mrazek to the leafs

I hope so, I am just concerned seeing all of the teams that I thought could use him filling their 2nd pair LD openings. I am going to hold out hope for now on Calgary wanting to replace Gio with Pettersson. They have Valakami, Kylington and Mackey for their 2nd & 3rd pairs but are those guys ready enough for a team that still wants to compete?

Mangipane would be a good replacement for McCann. Obviously there is the Lucic connection but I would be surprised if something like that happened. Monahan was also rumored to be on the block and while he is overpaid and overrated a bit, I'd love to find a way to grab him and shift Carter to RW.

Wonder if Subban gets traded next. I'd consider taking him for a year with half retained. Contract year and he is no longer in a public relationship... I think he is going to have a rebound year.

Wennberg is overrated as (frank) too from his 2 good seasons in CBJ lol went on a shooting percentage heater last season at 20%.
