- McGinn was in the 78th percentile of NHL forwards on zone entry denials. I love to see that, especially with how strong his other defensive numbers are. Could be a great partnership with Teddy Blueger.

ok ok ....and our PK stunk last season...but I thought it was more so on the goalies putrid PK HDSV% more so than personnel deployed...

So we have ERod replacing Tanev and McGinn replacing McCann... yeah, this is going well. Should have signed Gaudreau over ERod without a second of hesitation. And we have a little cap space left to replace Ceci and somehow upgrade our goaltending even though the great majority of goalies are already signed.

I for one respect the risk taking Hextall is making... Looks like he is betting everything on a 2.5% chance that we miss the playoffs and win the lottery to get Wright.

It's not the player as much as the contract he was given that will take away from getting better players.

I think he's fine with Friedman (or Rudy) being RD on the bottom pair. He drafted him and picked him up off waivers. In his limited action he looked good as well. F Ceci. Dont care if I ever hear his name again haha

Maybe they did go to guys like Saad and either they said no or the amount and term is a heck a lot more than 4 years at $2.75 mill per.
