Holtby, which I liked because of the short term.

And yet we’re talking about buying him out.

Yes but I think the Virtanen movie is already past it's climax.

He should be the 1st player bought out 24 hours after the cup is awarded.

Man, if the Canucks don’t buy him out because they a) aren’t sure if he’s guilty or not OR b) think he might be worth something on the trade market…

It's not going to be a good look if they don't buy him out.

After JV he’s next up on logic if another buyout.

I wouldn't mind not having the extra half mil on the books after next year. The ramifications get really ugly really fast if they don't buy him out.

Sadly, the best case scenario team wise is if they have legal grounds for termination. Which may take more time and money than it's worth just to eat that dead space.

To be considering buying out Holtby, one year after signing him, given the disaster that Eriksson, Bärtschi, Gagne, Beagle, Roussel and Sutter have been can leave no question that Jim is either completely inept at evaluating NHL players, or someone on the pro scouting team has photos of him, a horse and a pair of crotch less panties.

If they don’t buy him out, and he’s cleared of the charges, they won’t get another chance.

It’s solely about the cap not a history lesson.

Why take the chance?
A buyout is clean and I doubt the union finds anything to grieve.

I’m fine with a buyout. Pod easily replaces him & then some. Extra coin to find a real 3C or RHD

Do we have the poll up of what's worse:

Signing LE .....? OR..... trading for Schmidt....?

We already know what the one short on sense says.

Not because of he can't play. They're saying only if needed to clear cap to acquire an impact player.

Dylan Guenther confirms he has had conversations with the Vancouver Canucks. "Vancouver is a place that I would love to play," said Guenther, he says that he really enjoyed the conversations with Canucks management

Brandt Clarke has not spoken with the Vancouver Canucks but does have a call planned for next week. Clarke is honoured to be known as the top-ranked RD and is aware of how important RD's are. He went on to say he wants to work as hard as he can to become an elite NHL defenceman

Kids a pure shooter/goal scorer, something Benning loves, like Boeser, could be a good pick, for Philadelphia

Their D stinks and their forwards are over the hill but at least they have goaltending (sort of)
