Teams want full value for every pick I'm sure, just doesn't work that way. Finding a reasonable player that has a long career that isn't too far off is still a win.

I know it's been beaten to death but this is the reason I'd be Ok with trading the pick entirely given the right return. With everything going on this month, more sure things might be available outside the draft than in any typical year.

I'm actually good with keeping our pick as well.

UFA’s are a serious problem. Many never work out for any GM. Need the core & D & G in a good place then cheap UFA’s for a role without term.
