You have no proof of this . Don't go starting rumors you can't back up.

I was searching for a link to back this up and couldn’t find one. Maybe Ruby can help out.

The Vancouver Canucks have a number of talented young forwards on the roster and in the pipeline, but outside of Elias Pettersson they have very few at the center position. After a deep playoff run last season, Vancouver expected to continue as a contender for years to come. Instead, they took a major step back this season. The thin silver lining is that they have the opportunity to address their greatest prospect need with a top ten pick – and plan to do just that.

I think the Sharks are on the precipice of tumbling down the standings long term. They remind me of the Canucks trying to be competitive while re-tooling. It’s going to be tough to move some of those contracts, even though the players are still productive.

LA looks like they are going to try and make a move in the division. I could see them finishing near a playoff spot. Probably need to move on from Quick.

Sharks are a mess. That team is very far off from being a threat again.

Not worried about LA until we see how good their drafting and development turns out to be, it was good in the past but now they have new management. Once they start churning out calder candidates then I'll consider them a threat.

I think I've got the same amount of dislike for McTavish as I did for the rumours that the Canucks were interested in Glass over Petey.

After last years draft, I'm not so sure hockey IQ is topping the Canucks list for players attributes

What are you knocks on McT? Not saying I disagree, just curious? His offensive skill not good enough for you I'm guessing? Or is it strictly hockey sense?

I'd be thrilled with him at 9. I'd take KT over him if both are available, but the kid looks good.

I wasn’t on the Glass train. On McT if IQ is a real concern then 3C ceiling is ok if he plays to his size. I’ll reserve my pick til later now.

For the extra amount I've tried to watch on him this year to find out why he is so well liked.

I said he reminds me mostly of Scott Laughton with maybe a bit more offensive. Very top end you might see someone like Brayden Schenn.

Brayden Schenn as a junior was a much better scorer than what McTavish was.

He plays centre like Hyman plays winger for Matthews. He's the guy who goes to the corner to bang, then to the front of the net. Evident by his goal totals that exceed his assist totals by quite a bit.

He is physically more mature than a lot of junior players. That will catch up to him.

Brayden Schenn is a good player and worthy of 9oa. McTavish isn't the same junior scorer.

McTavish is a player that Van could use just not really worthy of 9oa.
