with everyone expected to be ready to go next week, I am curious to see what Ducharme/MB will come up with as a line up to start.

can't see him losing his spot in the lineup. unless the series proves more competitive than we thought and he's still dragging ass.

Hope he turns it up a notch during the playoffs, at his age it might be his last shot at a cup.

ya i think he has one notch

kind of what i mean when i say we've lowered our expectations for the guy. and if that's all he turns into, fair enough. good player to have.
- DoubleDown

The offense will come. He's developing almost identically to Mikko Koivu.

They do have interesting decisions coming.

I would personally sit Staal and Caufield for the first game. But either one could jump back in quickly if some players are slumping.

I'd be happy with a Mikko Koivu.

It's hard to predict, in the past 5 years he was either very good or very bad...

Again. You could be the Isles with that run of Dal Colle/Reinhart etc. all being ECHL fodder as top-5 picks.

Last shot at a cup usually implies they never won it, but fair enough.

i think it all depends how they want to play. this team didn't really have a defined style of play all season. they looked completely different from one game to the next.

im no fan of Ducharme so far but this next week will be his first opportunity to really work with the players and implement some type of practiced strategy.

I'd draft a Reinhart if it meant I could trade him for a Barzal

Still focusing on how to get thrown out of the face off circle, other lessons will come.
