This may be somewhat true.

The Full Leafs lineup looks pretty good. The 3-dmen and Johnsson and Mikheyev would all make a pretty big difference.

They still need to play a full 60 though and still need Andersen to return to form (oh, and not choke in game 7).

That is a lot to ask, but not impossible.

Andersen is my biggest concern. One of the very worst starters since 2020 started

Agree, and I will foolishly bet the underdog in the Leafs first series and be delighted if I win. There will be very little logic applied to this bet.

I will bet the opponent, so that I have a silver lining either way.

I am pretty sure that says something about my personality

No I don’t mind at all

About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy. It’s an uncommon form since the issue is in a frontal lobe, the left one. It’s a piece of scar tissue they assume was caused by a virus. Well it causes me to seize routinely and meds aren’t really cutting it... I’m at 2300mg of medication a day yet I still seize routinely. Unfortunately if they take my med quantity much higher it’s going to decimate my liver. So now we’ve begun the process to lead up to surgery, the intention is to cut the scar tissue out, hopefully it’s possible because they’re not going to cut into my brain unless they’re 100% sure they can get all the scar tissue out otherwise what’s the point?

I know not a lot is fully understood about seizure disorders. I wonder if even part of the scar tissue removed would be helpful?

Oh, and by the way, if you smell something delicious cooking during the procedure, don't eat it.

now you tell me

And yes, epilepsy is quite the thing, so many different versions of it. It’s why I volunteer for any and all research studies. Because the more they know the better off I am right?

So we have what...1-2 established NHL dmen on the roster now? Maybe we should've acquired one at the deadline?

Wake up Roger, the chances are good that if the Leafs make the playoffs they will play either Tampa or the Bruins. Leafs will be heavy underdogs in either case. The odds will be based on logic and history, not how much weed someone injested.
- winsix

Could've/should've won the last 2 series, they were not huge underdogs or badly outplayed. Just sayin

Just plating Matthews 22 minutes instead of 18 puts Leafs in a better position than last year against Boston.

Leafs outhit and outplayed Boston 5 on 5.

I mean...yes, he could've added depth anticipating that you need 8 nhl dmen to get through the season + playoffs. We have 4, even when healthy.

This is a good point. The judges critique the plating a lot and it can really change your score.
