They've never been subtle but they sure have picked up this year. .

Morning hate used to be a funny inside joke. Morning hate has been replaced by. 24/7 vitriol.

(It's kinda weird in a way how the lines got broken down by loose socioeconomic lines. The pandemic just put a spotlight to them.)

Just so you know, I slag your buddy in here to keep it out of the main thread. For a guy who claims to hate the drama in Carol's thread, you sure seem to like to pour gasoline all over the fire. As long as he keeps degrading people who disagree with his takes I will continue to poke him, in this thread or Carol's thread.

At this point everyone's in the gang except a few people.

Kinda makes you reconsider who the gang really is.

No kidding.

How does that work? Are we supposed to vote in leadership council?

Maybe somebody can take this to the main thread for clarification.

To be fair it was either Vantel or Booner that started the gang. I was just named a charter member.

You'd have to check with Vantel or Booner. They decide who is in and who is out.

c'mon man.

can't you see that it was NFU? he's done it before and it was patently obvious. did you not see the danny bomber reference? he's the one that has the issue.

booner would post it and ask for a comment in public. he wants the public fight in the main thread.

nFU is more the behind the scenes weasel.

I have my doubts but I hope I'm wrong because I like VanHockeyGuy. NuckFU usually likes to get credit for going against me. Again, I hope I'm wrong and if I am, I offer my sincere apology to the Cougar Conqueror.

nah. VHG doesn't seem like a spineless little weasel.

i'd love to see the pm chains between the 3 or 4 "Hillbillies of Knowledge," in the last couple months. there must have been delicious tears amongst all that anger and rage.

Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’

“Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.

On Memorial Day 2017, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, ... accompanied on this visit by John Kelly, who was then the secretary of homeland security, and who would, a short time later, be named the White House chief of staff.... Kelly’s son Robert is buried in Section 60. A first lieutenant in the Marine Corps, Robert Kelly was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan. He was 29....

But according to sources with knowledge of this visit, Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” Kelly (who declined to comment for this story)

This is becoming a big story. Just reading another article in the New York about the Atlantic’s bombshell. I found this comment particularly revealing:

“What’s more, traditional journalistic practice grants more credence to on-the-record sources than anonymous ones, because sources who put their name behind a claim are risking reputational embarrassment if it is falsified. That method would lend more credence to the named sources denying Goldberg’s account than to the unnamed ones endorsing it.

However, that principle obviously does not apply to this administration. Lying is not only common in the Trump administration, it is the cultural glue that holds the president’s coalition together. A willingness to endorse his lies is the most common method Trump uses to identify his loyalists.”

what's funny is that he wouldn't be caught dead with many if not most of his supporters.

take a look at him and his life and then contrast it with his supporters. do you think they'd ever get an invite to any sort of function of his? do you think he'd ever attend a function of theirs strictly for pleasure rather than for political gain?

he loathes most of his base but they're too (insert whatever term you want to use) to notice it.
