Janet, don't be a wussy. If you run 2 miles a day with that lawnmower it practically cuts itself.

The small successes are great. That said, i'm not sure you can call them a playoff team. I mean they're a play-in team that won their matchup.

Yes they have some young and exciting players. They have a goalie that's more than capable of going on an extended hot streak. They're also heavily relying on veterans for huge minutes, especially on D.

I don't think they're a lock for the postseason next year. I also think they'll struggle moving forward against some better competition.

Yup, the pom-poms are flying and let them have their victory celebrations.
The Canucks benefitted by having 4-5 months off. They'll be in tough next season (whenever that happens) and are still anchored with horrendous contracts. But hey, the bouncy castle is open, cupcakes for everyone!

They averaged over 7 1/2 minutes of PP time per game, scored 1/3 of their goals there.

Have old vet C's for the PK.

The competition is about to get better, much better.

I think St. Louis will do it in 5 or 6. In the meantime, a young-ish team gains experience.
He's being cordial until someone mentions the salary cap.

Yeah, cap won't get mentioned much in the playoffs. I hope they can win a round against the defending champs, that poop means a lot moving forward to a young team.

Yesterday I posted a comment to Vantel and it’s now gone with the picture of poo he sent me. I had to go out so didn’t see the follow up and the removal. What happened?

No idea, I ended up getting drunk and high. I'm on vacation now, think i'm gonna head over to Campobello island instead of the Digby area. Probably head there tomorrow and tent it for a couple of nights.

I think some things are quietly removed to 'de-escalate' knowing how easily Vantel flies off the handle using homophobic slurs and calling everyone losers, twinkies & snowflakes.

Getting awfully close to those dirty mericans. Going to do a side trip to Grand Manan? Probably best to stay within your province now that covid numbers are increasing again.

Have you ever been to the Parrsboro are of NS? Took the kids there a few years ago and did some fossil hunting on the beaches. Found loads. Kids thought it was cool and it was somewhat educational.

To be honest the only reason i'm staying is we get 20% back by keeping it in province and I haven't been there yet. From what I understand all of the Covid is from travel outside the bubble. Absolutely the best place to be in NA right now.

I haven't seen much of NS at all, not even Cape Breton yet so thanks for the tip. My buddy is trying to talk me in to going to play at Cabot Cliffs next week. $320 for a nights stay, the Cliffs and some executive course. He also wants to play the links so it'll probably be closer to $1k all in. I'm not sure I want to spend that on a 3 day trip when I haven't golfed much the past few years.

However, it is the top rated golf course in Canada.

Yeah, that and Cabot Links are supposed to be two world class courses. Not surprised at the price tag. From people I know who’ve played both, the scenery of Cliffs is well worth the price of admission. For them it was all about the pictures of them swinging in such a beautiful setting. From my golfing buddies, it’s a “must do”.

TBH, I’m not a golfer so wouldn’t pay that price for a scenic walk and a few snaps. If you go and haven’t played for a while take lots of balls cause you’ll burn through them.

Yeah, i'll cash in some stocks. That $320 is a steal, it was $800 last year apparently. It would probably be nice to get away for a couple of days.......we'll see. Maybe if I invite Lefty he'll pay my way. He'll just have to quarantine for 14 days first.

Booner - I know you lurk here so please take this advice personally, go fuck yourself you little weasel.

You’re the first to wet your panties and run to the Mods when people criticize you yet are the first to try to cause havoc when the situation normalizes itself. All was well until you started again with your PMs.

You promised to leave this site and now you’re back. Why don’t you keep your word and get lost.

What happened? Missing a day of HB is like missing an episode of Real Kardashian Housewives.

Can I get a Cole's Notes of what happened?

Since you might not be around much (camping), perhaps the regular readers of this thread (like Booner or Vantel) can provide the update. Please and thanks.

It looks like anything that might set Vantel off is being deleted. Feelings.

Thanks Golfing & Codes! It's been a rough few days but the long-term end result was worth it. So glad we got the surgery done before the 2nd wave comes crashing in.

Saw Vantel calling out for his 'close buddy' Minivan but got Pres. Cup instead.

Went and scoped this place as a mostly summer home for the out-laws.

Nice little place that he could also run his part-time orthotics practice out of. It needs a bit of updating but it's all one level and they want to be able to look over the water.

Cost nearly twice as much as my house though.

This property makes me so envious of the east coast. That place looks like the most fun summer property. I could just envision so many good memories being made in a place like that!

We just sold our house and are looking to live in a place called North Saanich/Dean Park. We have 2.5 months to find a place before we lose possession of the house we are in so we have a showing at this place on Monday. Pricing is just ridiculous on the west coast
