Hannity - “What is one of your top priority items for a second term?”

Trump - “Well, one of the things that will be really great, you know, the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience. I’ve always said that. But the word experience is a very important word. It’s an, a very important meaning.”

Bloated - “WTF?”

So who is this Kanye West guy? Looks like another goof, so he’ll probably win the election.

Greatest country in the world is a bit (frank)ed up, eh Lefty.

He's a rapper with a jesus complex who loves Trump and is married to some woman who does nothing that America is obsessed with.
It truly is the greatest country on earth!

Found this of interest:

https://www.google.ca/amp...irus-is-airborne.amp.html

Folks at FHA have suspected the virus was airborne for a while even though some said different. Would explain the massive rapid increase in infections in the US...

This virus is a complex little bugger.

Read that earlier. Also read an independent study in Spain that confirms herd immunity isnt achievable. In 65000 cases studied, only 5% of those developed antibodies. We need a vaccine, bad.

Also, 9 more NHL players tested positive last week

Always been that way, people wouldn’t act this way in real face to face encounters, but an anonymous site brings out the worst...at times.

I believe in our provincial health authorities, and if they are confident that they can ease restrictions in a controlled and contained environment, then lets follow the protocols and do this responsibly.

The mob mentality pisses me off, what happened in London and around the world with easing of restrictions and mass protests is selfish and everyone involved should be smacked up the side of the head.

we need a forum for recipes I think. I have been smoking, slow cooking and bbq'ing a ton lately and could use some good ones

Well I just got caught up in the main blog, Marwood I think Vantel was out of line in his personal attacks, he looks for a reason to insult (come on, he is put out by being called old, old for (frank) sake).

Regardless of the back and forth, I am still saddened that you and your lovely wife had to close the business doors, my heart goes out to you two.

I made a BBQ sauce that I hope I can replicate. It was so freaking good, I think the chipotle paste was the trick. Oh, and the whiskey.
I think this was it;

2 cups ketchup, passata or tomato sauce
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup whisky or bourbon
1/4 cup of jelly (we had a jar of cherry jelly in the pantry)
1/4 of cipotle paste ( we had a massive container of chipotle in adobe in blended the f*ck out of it until it was a paste)
2 tbs liquid smoke
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs onion powder

somewhat in order, I added the ingredients into a sauce pan and brought them to a slow boil and then let it simmer for 10-15 minutes

I would love that, I love to cook.

We had Red Curry Thai Soup last night made by a chef that is out of work because of the pandemic. She lives in Metchosin and has been selling from her home, it was the absolute best, but it is all in the ingredients and the quality of those ingredients.

The losing our business poke certainly provoked me. I thought it was below the belt and uncalled for. I can take all of the hate that I bring on but going after me in that fashion just shows that I got under his skin about the cap. We have been arguing about that since last summer at least. I, also enjoy being asked to join him for a run after I told him I can't walk further than a block.
Clearly, I got under his skin. Admitting to being an atheist didn't help. He brought up the age thing during the Black Lives Matter protests, saying no one is standing up to ageism.
Anyway, if some of the more rational posters are going to linger in here, then I will stay in here for awhile. At least we can disagree with a modicum of respect, you Benning leg-humper.

i know this is from the NY Times so it's not as credible as a facebook link to a comic book but....

https://www.nytimes.com/2...-economy-coronavirus.html
Sweden Has Become the World’s Cautionary Tale

Its decision to carry on in the face of the pandemic has yielded a surge of deaths without sparing its economy from damage

This is what has happened: Not only have thousands more people died than in neighboring countries that imposed lockdowns, but Sweden’s economy has fared little better.

“They literally gained nothing,” said Jacob F. Kirkegaard, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics in Washington. “It’s a self-inflicted wound, and they have no economic gains.”
