Why go all inclusive when food and booze are so much cheaper and often better? Take a night or two when you come in then go somewhere else.

What I tell people if they haven't been at a location is find a reasonable all inclusive and do your homework when there. You'll figure things out fast. Alternatively you wing it, which works as well. (ladies don't like that)

Thankful my GF has traveled Africa/Europe/Central America/Korea – when we go somewhere we do a little research beforehand (she looks up the best local restaurants and eateries, I look up the best bars and cocktails), and we go from there. Sprinkle some research in with some spur of the moment holes in the wall, all for the best and never an all inclusive

Most of our travelling is in Europe, and we never research restaurants, just stumble upon hole in the wall places off the beaten track. Though I admit that Google maps has been a game changer when abroad. That and how cheap a pay as you go SIM card is in Europe.

Google reviews has changed everything. Can separate the really good hole-in-the-walls from the poop ones

Look at the traffic around hole in the wall restaurants, a tell tail sign.

They're usually off the beaten path, ask locals.

So a country that claims to be all about rights, for the people, has the ROE v Wade overturned.

I would be ashamed to be American, or living in a hypocritical country like that.

If the locals eat there, ya, it's worth it. Unfortunately a lot of "hole in the walls" that are busy are just busy with people because it's a high traffic area. New York was full of those.

The republican Supreme Court needed to overturn the ruling, they need all the kids they can get for the elementary school massacres, I heard sales of AK to 16yr olds is on the rise.

Easy little fella, not that I agree or disagree with the ruling, I have no horse in the race, however, it is deplorable that a woman under any circumstances doesn’t have control over their own body. The Supreme Court turned abortion rules over to the individual states. All but three allow abortion.

Its honestly just a start though.

Thomas has already said that gay marriage and LGBTQ rights will be next on the agenda.

how 9 people hold this much power is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Its also the most hypocritical thing ever, that they want full control when it comes to vaccines and what they put in their body, but full control over what a woman can/can't do with their body. America though.

Uh no.

In anticipation of the Supreme Court's ruling to overturn the right to an abortion, 13 US states imposed so-called "trigger laws" that fully or partially ban the procedure.

Although each law differs in language, most will be implemented with immediate effect.

In fact, trigger laws in Kentucky, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Dakota, Missouri, Oklahoma and Alabama have already been applied.

Bans in Mississippi and North Dakota will come into effect after their respective attorneys general have certified or otherwise recommended the move.

The ban in Wyoming has been certified by its governor and will come into effect in five days, and another in Utah is set to be certified by a legislative general counsel.

Finally, abortion bans in Idaho, Tennessee and Texas will be applied 30 days from now.

It’s the same in Canada

Until recently the federal government said you couldn’t travel unless you injected yourself with a vaccine. Come on. There’s tons of recent examples how the government had full control of you in Canada unless you injected a vaccine you didn’t want, right or wrong, into your body. They terminated thousands of people’s livelihoods because of it, and it’s still in place.

We’ll see how it plays out but you’re talking about something that hasn’t happened yet. Hopefully common sense prevails and if it doesn’t those people get voted out of office like Biden said today.

I know in Arizona today Governor Ducey applauded the ruling on social media and he was chastised by thousands of people calling him an idiot. That’s why it’s a swing state because there is both Democrats and Republicans in the state, as an example the governor is a Republican but the senators are Democrats.

Yet didn't let them have any gun control the day before. They contradicted themselves based on a 230 year old document, saying they weren't aware of any other amendments having restrictions.

The amendment needs amending.

I know, it’s ridiculous. They need to strike the 2nd amendment from the constitution. Would cause the breakdown of the country though

Striking it one thing, revising it is a totally different animal. Even gun rights advocates should believe these amendments need some modernizing.

Here's the 7th.

"In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law."

$20, shows how outdated things are.

Politicians are in it for themselves, and that’s true on both sides of the border between Canada and the United States. How people can be so obtuse towards that fact is beyond be. They won’t change anything because they don’t want to be voted out.

Well the Supreme court just reversed Roe vs Wade.

Canada is constantly updating it's gun laws although there is some controversy because they aren't doing it right.

There's territorial vs federal rights in both countries. It's complicated but making a landmark decision based off a 230 year old document is damn near criminal when the circumstances surrounding that document have changed so much.

We're talking about a right back when the country was still pretty much colonial, just 15 years after the declaration of independance.

Judges are being bought.

I totally agree. Regarding the constitution. Portions of it are grossly outdated.

It’s like the old growth forest protesters on the west coast. What they’re doing is illegal when they block law abiding citizens from freely traveling down public roads, it’s clearly against the laws that are in place but they were rarely arrested. Until recently. As people are getting fed up with the liberal coddling of people who are clearly breaking the law while their lives are disrupted. Someone died in an ambulance recently because they couldn’t get through. They should be charged.

The Iranian student who’s leading the protesters is on a student visa that stipulates he not get into trouble with the law yet he’s been arrested something like nine times and charged a few times. It’s bullpoop! Deport that mother(frank)er!! Canada is one of the most bureaucratic inefficient wealthy nations on earth.

There’s a lot of great things about both nations but there’s also a lot of BS with both nations.
