Pierre Poilevre uses Anglo Saxon words when speaking to people.

Let’s see… What’s your opinion of nazis? Scourge of the Caucasus or misunderstood nationalists who have a fetish for toothbrush moustaches and snappy military attire?

We need a party for those that speak in Anglo Saxon words.

I don’t know if I’d go as far as fantastic. Was a bit like an episode of ancient aliens, or unsolved mysteries.

I just love the line “back then, everyone was for sale”. I think that’s true for most politicians; left, right, cons, libs, whom ever. Can’t trust any of them.

True true

More worried about re-election, or climbing the power ladder than actually serving the people.

Get rid of religion and politics and we’d be fine…

“No one:

The cops outside of an elementary school while an active shooter is inside murdering children:

Yep, yep, yep, mhm“

To be fair, can’t really blame police for not wanting to charge in when they know there’s someone in the school with an assault rifle capable of mowing them down as they open the door.

i have to admit it, I was watching some of the footage and watched a slideshow of all the victims, and i just couldn't stop the tears man. The only place that has an issue with these school shootings, is the only place that says "we dont know how to stop it". My heart just aches for the families.

I can't look at those pictures nor read the stories, it's just too devastating. Will never visit that country again.
It was good to see O'Rourke call out Abbott at the news conference.

It's heart wrenching, I've been crying every time I turn on the news, I just think of my Grand kids and I want to be with them

It makes me so angry. Yesterday morning I snapped at my wife. She thought it was because she had slept in and I did all the dishes, made the breakfast and lunch etc. but it was because I was so pissed from reading twitter in the morning while drinking my coffee. I apologized later.

I’ve just seen something from some cunt (Bobert?) on Twitter that made me want to reach through the screen and punch her.

Not saying that America is on its way to societal collapse but…

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Societal_collapse

It amazes me that Americans are capable of achieving such greatness while at the same time being so fucked up.

I think Canadians too often think “it’s over there”, but we’re so close, geographically, socially, culturally. What happens there often leaks into what we do here. Just look at the stupid truck/bike convoys protesting nothing.

Canada is much more centered than America... from governmental systems, to laws (no hate speech/Klan), to the basis of national identity (revolution, guns, "freedoms", American Dream, fierce independence, etc.)... Canada is very America-Lite, but I don't see what's happening there leaking up into Canada/eroding the country in the same way.

Have you not been following the Conservative leadership race? Or the people with nooses waiting for Trudeau at a fundraiser? Canada is not far behind the states.

Sounds like some major screwups by the great state of Texas and their many police departments.

For a country that thinks it is cool to pack any type of gun, they sure have some questionable people making sure they can stop people who misuse that right.

What a fucked up country.

Not at all, there's lots of closet Klansmen here, praying for a demagogue like Trump for fix the country.
