Yet they will have the 3rd highest amount of votes, with almost 20% of the voters supporting them, and they won't even hold 10 % of the seats available.

It is a flawed system, that was designed for a 2 party system.

I really don't care who gets elected, I'll be out of Canada before their term would be up. I've been selling off my assets, renovating the house to sell next year. just liquidate everything and leave.

Yeah, until I get tired of dealing with spoiled kids.

The guy who bought my share of the land in the Philippines has offered me a sweet deal on a 20 year lease on 2000 sqm. Flat land mostly bananas, 5 min walk to a rocky beach, 15 min walk to a golf course, I don't play golf but they have a nice German restaurant. I can do what I originally planned to do, build a place and hangout in a hammock.

Funny, just found out that Justin is older than Erin O’Toole by two years. Bald guys always look older than they are.

I’m assuming you’re taking about Jagmeet Singh? Oh he and the NDP will finish 4th guaranteed. Lib/Con first and second, Bloc next, and the NDP distant fourth. The Greens could be wiped out totally (well except for Victoria Central)

I don’t know, Greens might lose North Saanich/Islands - May has done enough to piss people off.

I’m really undecided right now.

Crimea - Sevastopol.

Mediterranean climate, though a little colder in the winter than say Tuscany.

A friend of mine uses the process of elimination process. He finds out which party represents the morals and philosophies of his beliefs the most then works from there. Although he doesn't always vote for the party/candidate that holds the beliefs highest to him, as he lives in a riding that is very closely contested, between 3 parties, he will vote against a party, using his vote to go to who he thinks will win that riding, over the party that he can't and won't vote for.

my vote will not matter (to be honest.) the person who will get re-elected will not be the person i vote for but i still vote.

vote strategically. vote emotionally. vote based on looks, personality or whatever. just vote.

at the end of the day, let's just have the government that "we" voted for.

i'm hoping the liberals win but i'm equally hoping that JT gets replaced so.....

anywhooooo, i'm already looking at next crop of leaders because i'm already over this group (i disagree with your opinion on Singh based on A LOT of things that i would discuss personally in PMs but not on a thread.)

chrystia freeland as the next liberal leader? i think i see it coming. i'm not a huge fan but second female PM seems to be likely. but let's be honest, the next female PM will not be nearly as good as the first female PM...

KIM CAMPBELL could have/would have been a great PM!!!!!!! fcuk brian mulrohney. come at me bloated. fcuk big chin brian. you only like him because all the parties especially the cons sucked eastern canada (maritime) dcik until the 90's.

Fortunately for me, the party I vote for wins about 90% of the time, so my vote counts😁
I thought you were going to say Kim Campbell was a good PM, because she wasn't in for very long. Lol. I do agree though, she was a refreshing change for the Conservatives.

i am and always have been a big fan of kim campbell. very, very smart. astute in her in vision and blunt in her assessments.

she is/was too blunt for public consumption.

she's the athlete who gives honest answers after a game.... and we all know how that turns out.

When I grew up with this fella, he was always Conservative(he is a small business owner), but has been turned off from that party ever since they split and had the Reform faction. He now votes Liberal, Green, NDP and is even considering the PPC this time around.

The last time I seen her in an interview, she wasn't all that enthused about the direction of the Conservatives. She was concerned the party was far to focused on the Energy sector in the prairies and not much else. She felt they were regionalizing themselves.

She knows and speaks the truth.

The conservs since the merger have been adrift (though probably before.) The reform/alliance took over and it's been a factional party ever since.

They've become entrenched in rural politics/outlook while the country has become more urban.

O'Toole recognizes this and is trying to pivot to the middle but how long before his own party does him in about some of his views? Great to campaign on but if they ever govern, he either has to move back to his party's base or he'll have a bullseye on his back. Think I'm wrong? Look at Alberta provincial politics. Assistant park manager Randy Bo bandy tried to play the middle (lol what you call moderate in AB lol) but is getting run over by both sides.

I liked her publicized comments on Trump:

“He really IS a motherfucker!”

“I’m hoping for a direct hurricane hit on Mar a Lago!”

Thought I'd post this...

Dear Fraser Health Family,

I have heard from many of you regarding yesterday’s protests. While I support democratic rights in our country to peaceful protests, I was appalled by abusive behaviours that caused care disruptions to our patients and families, and angered that they brought many of our teams to tears. Having worked in many parts of the world that are less privileged than ours and knowing that, globally, even health care workers are struggling to access COVID-19 vaccines, I was also saddened by the stark and overt demonstration of the inequities in our society.

It’s been a long and difficult journey for all of us. The rapid spread of the delta variant fuelling wave four after persevering through the deadly heat dome and wildfires this summer has caused an additional toll on our health system capacities. Each and every day, I know we are stretching to provide the best care possible to our patients, families and communities.

We have chosen our professions in health and/or selected to work in health because we care. Throughout the pandemic, I have been so proud of your professionalism, dedication and commitment. Each and every one of you have made many sacrifices for the past 19 months so that we can collectively prepare and respond to the pandemic. The majority of the public know your pivotal role in keeping all of us safe. Let’s not let a small group of people deter our resolve to providing the best care possible and continuing to live our values of respect, caring and trust.

Thank you for everything you do, I am truly honoured to be part of the Fraser Health family.

I really hate those selfish & entitled c*nts. It's so frustrating.

Me too but I realize that these people are essentially socially retarded. They live in a fantasy world where paranoia and distrust reigns, fuelled by a narrative created through books, movies, and tv dramas. They can no longer distinguish between entertainment and reality.

We need to treat and educate these people like they are adolescents who are frightened of knowledge and reasonable thought processes.
