No one is a fan of Gaunce but unless another player gets stuck thanks to an Icing. Horvat has taken just about every defensive draw for the past couple of games.

Complain about Sutter's lack of scoring but now asking the same from Horvat. Go 200' a lot.

Granlund got stuck out and lost the Dzone face-off that lead to NYR 2nd goal.

They went out and got Beagle and Sutter to take those draws. Why can't Gaunce have the same role as Beagle. Gaunce is pretty good on face-offs.

Rather have Gaunce out there playing 6-10 minutes a game and helping out on face-offs then Archie playing 7 minutes of wing a night.

Agree that the inexperience/exhaustion is playing a part. Hard to sustain that energy with the bigger minute munchers down. May as well keep Pou up here and keep OJ developing nicely in Utica. I think we’re seeing all we can with Pou — TG doing everything he can to get his confidence and consistency up. His upside is good, Justin Schultz type.

Yup, he's no all star and I over pump his tires cause he's so black listed, he is a better fringe defensive player then Liepsic, Motte or Archie.

I don't know whose wife he slept with to acquire the high level of hate that he garners. Greens, Bennings or a southern orange taking hate clip.

I don't see much upside to him.

Between him and Leipsic, I think he has more. Not saying he could be top 4, but a solid puck moving-ish bottom pairing guy is his ceiling. I think the experiment with him is done after this season though — time to move on.
