I dont fully understand what you meant there.
But the only things this team needs assuming all players hit potential which will not happen is:
1st line center if Petterson is a winger. Or another impact winger to play with Petterson.
Top pairing RHD.
Size that can play in the top 9 in the mold of a Wilson.
We are slowly getting there. Hopefully the next draft we can add another Center or top pairing RHD, although at this time defense on the right side looks week in the next draft.
I really hoping Edler waives at the deadline and then resign him in the off season. Trading Gudranson, Sven and Sutter for picks would be great. We have some decent depth now so I would like to start targeting players in the draft in moving up, although i dont see it happening getting 1oa unless winning the lottery the price is just to high. - mauryballstein
If our wingers pan out as dynamic as we hope a top 2 C 2-way playmaker is good enough. As for a top RHD nearly every team wants one of those for eternity lol
Top C & stud RHD have always been highly sought after & only usually found at 1oa or a diamond in the rough historically. Sometimes a Malkin is available but its rare. |

On D is where it all starts & the focus there has improved. Can always develop a stay at home partner who can log the minutes. Pairing dynamics are key & what we need most if we wanna contend again. IMO the PK can be handled ok its the PP that makes all the difference. |

I’m cool with any reply or possible offer ppl think makes sense if there is one.
I believe Vancouver is a good place he’d like to play & live. - Nighthawk
not really tbh. cuts our window down too much. doubts about his ankle also.

Massive overpayment IMO, Jack Hughes will likely be 1OA next year, but he's not worth that much. |

Wtf are you on about Jr? - Nighthawk
Are you drunk already? I just think your trade valuation is similar to someone smoking the old rock. "Hi Dorian, Its JB here. I'll give you spare parts for your future first ballot hall of famer. Oh, and I plan on underpaying him too" |

Had enough of your crap.
A 1st & OJ are spare parts?
Sven is cheap for a Melnyk.
7/9m is underpaid since when?
Brush yer tooth kiddo & go to sleep.
Take your insults elsewhere where keyboard Kowards hang out. Try it you might make a friend if lucky. Odds on that are nada. |

Certainly we will have a good choice available to us, wherever we pick, top 3 or not. |

Cannot see us picking any worse than top 5. Nothing wrong with that at all. Chances of 1oa or close the odds are high says Vegas i am sure of 😂😂 |

Just watched some J Hughes highlights.
5’10” 161lbs
Plays like Quinn only as a C instead of D.
Similar moves & style is uncanny.
Seems to be a mirror image in a way. |

Its the best i found but that's not saying Button is bang on.
Looks to be good talent for the 2019 draft. I’m partial towards C if highly touted as a legit #1. Only a stud D changes my mind. Now is Byram that stud? He’s a LHD which doesn’t suit us currently. Is Cozens or Lavoie or Krebs at C a no brainer? Regardless we get some serious good talent however next season goes with only 1oa being the ultimate dream. |

I wouldn't base any sort of decisions until at least the mid-season rankings come out. Other than J. Hughes, there's really no one else touted to potentially go 1-2 or 3OA. |
