OJ and Demko haven't made the team yet? And if they do it'll be as bit roles imo. - LeftCoaster
I know, but losing 2 PP specialists and having the kids take steps forward doesn't seem to me like it'll make the team worse. |

The Sedins surprisingly had a lot of even strength points that need to be replaced. There's nothing wrong with being a bit worse next year while the kids acclimatize. |

I think they'll push him through that's why I didn't include him. |

It's what's good for the kids' development at this point, if they are ready they will be in the lineup if not Utica will be more fun to keep an eye on this year. |

For the record Henrik had 33 even strength points and Daniel had 32. |

Hard to say at this point while moves are yet to be made on all teams. |

I think they will also, just don't like gifting spots.

Nah, I have an easy time saying it
I'm okay with being wrong about that too, if I am it means a really good draft pick |

I think his talent will put him on the team eventually next year, he's a special player even if he's just a PP guy until he proves he's a top six player. |

A lot of things need to go right, but when you finish with 73 points it's very possible. |

Yes one more good first round pick should push them into step two of a rebuild. Then it'll be time for the kids to start proving they're core pieces. |

Yes his skill will be much needed on this team and PP time will be a good spot for him.
Just hope they get a little bit of a skilled grit guy that can play with him and help insulate him. |

You get any smoke and ash falling up there? We had a wind shift the other day when the barometer was dropping and there it was. Here we go I thought...

Personally I like kids to develop for two years before I put expectations on them, so only Virtanen, Juolevi and Boeser fall into that category. |

If I’m big time free agent 3 years from now I bet Vancouver looks very desirable. Even now I’m more excited about this team than I have been in a long time. |

I think that's pretty fair. They have to at least be over 20 |

I would love that. But the reality is there's going to be a lot of kids on this team, including a few that probably shouldn't be in either of our opinions. Kids I see as already having a spot: JV, Gaudette, Pettersson, Goldy and Boeser. This is at a minimum IMO, more likely we ave 3-4 rookies in the lineup depending if OJ, Dahlen, Hughes and Lind have good camps. |
