I would agree if the leafs actually had a guy. Everyone thinks Hyman is that guy, but with 16 assists in 64gp, on a line with Mathews, I would argue Hyman isn't retrieving squat. He mucks it out in the corners but it doesn't result in scoring chances.

That's what Babcock knows more than us about this - the fact that Martin (or Hyman) will not be removed from the lineup under any circumstance

Every time Marner plays with Matthews those two seem to just get a bundle of energy. You can tell they want to play together.

Nylander is very good at taking the puck and bringing it into the zone. JVR/Bozak could benifit from that.

Gardiner always plays next to Mathews. The only time he's in actually position is on a faceoff. Even then its hit and miss.
