To be honest, I don't actually have a problem with this. He's joking around.

I have a problem with him wearing sweatpants.

Everyone in the nhl: Leafs are not relevant. No one cares about them outside of Toronto.


And yet everyone can't stop talking about them.

I was in Germany on business with my coworker who was a huge habs fan and perpetually trash talked the Leafs. Anyway, we were having lunch with an older IT guy at Puma who basically knows about nothing but soccer, and as we talked about hockey my coworker, who was trash talking the Leafs, asked him about Toronto's hockey team and the IT guy was like "oh yes, the Toronto Maple Leafs, ofcourse". Then he asks him what about Montreal and the IT guy just kind of stares at him blankly, like he never even knew there was a hockey team in Montreal. It was precious
