I personally believe that between Kevan, Colin, Morrow, O'Gara, Gryz, Carlo, Lauzon, Zboril, it's pretty likely the B's can produce one maybe two guys who can play meaningful min this year. The first three are obviously the most likely candidates but I think they all have a shot. Excited for training camp, I think someone will step up big time
I'm surprised there's not more hype around Gryz after Gostisbeheres season. I feel like they were real similar in college, Gryz just couldn't stay healthy. He's my dark horse impact player |

A lot of people are saying Carlo is ready defensively. But they might stick him on the baby Bruins to see if he cant round out a few of the offensive aspects of his game. The D will look good 3 years from now once all the growing pains are done (I hope they will be done in that time). |

I have this sharp pain in my ass where I was branded by Sweeney with the hot poker of mediocrity. |

Yeah, I'm excited about him too. Krug Carlo could be a really nice pair sooner than later |

I'm tempering my excitement on young players on the bruins until I see they have signed a long term extension. During their ELC they are all susceptible to what I am naming the "uppity loner" effect. When it's their turn to get paid, trade them for veterans or picks and make a BS excuse why it HAD to happen. |

It would be 4 first rounders. And Trouba is not a D man I would do it for. Would have gladly done it for a D man like Ekblad if it ever got to that point though. - dothedougie
and thats why Sweeney has been a crappy GM so far, giving up draft pics for Rinaldo
, and then whats his face at the trade deadline, no recognition of possible future moves, and for what... to not make the playoffs again. Sure they were close, but does anyone believe they would have made noise in the playoffs? better off doing nothing,.. if you though they would make the playoffs they could have done it with parts in hand. A smart gm would have said to himself, ..."hey, if I keep a 2nd and a 3rd,.. I could offer sheet that guy" .. But Mr. Harvard didnt do that. |

It may not be legit, but in essence eriksson was traded for backes. I know they may have been able to grab some picks or something for him, but it keeps me from being angry about letting him walk...
Kinda like I try to justify the Seguin trade by dumping The contracts and being able to sign Iginla and should have won the cup.
Then again without that stupid bonus latent contract for iginla, we would have had room to keep bouchuk...

I was actually hoping that the Bruins would sign Trouba and give Wpg 4- 1st round picks. I am sure that we could have then traded 2 of those picks to get a LHD that fits our needs. |

Thats what makes no sense. Why would Boston ever stick themselves with a crazy contract and lose 4 first round picks? Better to offer a team like Minnesota two firsts for dumba or Scandella or Spurgeon.
Winnipeg does need to shed a dman though. Trouba, buff, Myers, enstrom. Too much money needed to retain em. Somethings gotta give |

Or you guys could take something reasonable like Krejci for Ehlers, Trouba and your 2017 1st. See what I did there? |
