Edmonton, another year experience on D + Another top-4 pick + whatever they get for Eberle and/or RNH.

Calgary, Just need a goalie

Montreal, Price, Subban and a high pick this year

Toronto, not much now, but another high pick coming and good cap position.

Winnipeg, Some good pieces, need goaltending

Ottawa, Karlsson. everything else is meh.

Vancouver, They still haven't found the basement under their rock bottom.

Mark Stone not "meh" in my opinion, he's currently sitting (tied for) 20th overall in points, leads the league (by a wide margin) in takeaways and is rumoured to be in mix for consideration for team Canada, when they fill out their WCofH roster.

Will wait to see how the draft lottery shakes out, before ranking teams (as suggested) as a lottery win by a Canadian team, that moves them up into one of the top three (selecting) spots will be a big "positive".

oh for christs sake, the whole (frank)ing team is complete garbage. they're still the embarassment they always have been, and always will be. We heard this crap about Jason Spezza making Team Canada, and now we're hearing it about Mark Stone.

Blah blah blah, so great defensively. Tell me this - how does a team who has so many players, like Marc Methot, Kyle Turris, Mark Stone, Bobby Ryan, Mika Zibanejadetc, etc, etc, who Senators fans claim are SOOOO GREAT defensively, and Erik Karlsson, who Sens fans claim is pretty responsible, end up as the worst defensive team in the entire league? Hands. Down.

Mark Stone is the definition of "Meh". and I doubt you can find one link written by anyone outside the ottawa media suggesting he is in the mix for team canada.

He's not good enough. Just like his garbage team.

It's hilarious listening to Sens fans yap about building a good two way team, with lots of character players, then ice the worst defensive team in the league, full of douchebags.

A couple of examples are (Tyler) Toffoli in Los Angeles is playing very well, (Jake) Muzzin in Los Angeles is playing very well, (Mark) Stone in Ottawa’s a very good player,

Armstrong specifically mentioned four such players who are on the team’s watch list: forwards Brendan Gallagher of the Montreal Canadiens, Mark Stone of the Ottawa Senators,

A strong start to the 2015-16 NHL season from Los Angeles Kings forward Tyler Toffoli and defenseman Jake Muzzin, Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone, and Montreal Canadiens forward Brendan Gallagher has each on Team Canada's radar for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

I honestly think Ottawa is worse off than Vancouver right now.

While Vancouver sucks, and doesn't appear to want to sell off their aging veterans... they do have the pieces that could be used to accelerate a re-build... and they don't seem to have an internal cap like Ottawa.

I agree that they have parts that they could move to get some good returns.

there are a couple problems I see with that, First Benning doesnt seem to think the team needs to be torn down, not long ago he said the team could still make the playoffs. Second, even if they did decide to tear it down, I dont know if Benning could get max value back. I just think he is now the new Nonis and really is just Lost.

thats why I put Van last currently. If Benning is steering the ship its going to crash

I assume you mean the twins, who have two years left on their contracts .......... but the problem is they would have to find a team that wants them both, as they probably have some form of a NTC that keeps them together, and they're better together than separately. Miller only has one more year left, and would probably be a great trade deadline deal next season.

Your lack of hockey knowledge is on display again, for everyone to see.

Since January 1st 2015, until today....... these are the top four NHLers in Points when playing at Even Strength.

Crosby - 88 pts
Benn - 87 pts
Stone - 82 pts
Kane - 80 pts.

Now can you please tell us exactly what your definition of "Meh" is?

I dont think Montreal is in a better Position Currently.
I am considering management, coaching, prospects, current roster.

I would put them ahead of Edmonton... but Mcdavid changes things... this summer is going to be interesting for several Canadian teams
