I am on record as feeling black is permissible so long as it plays a prominent role in the team's primary logo.

I do agree it's rather tired and kind of a cop-out, though.

as i previously reported ((frank) you, eklund, if you're reading this) i hate the red/black color combo anyway, but the canes uniform itself finally doesn't bother me as there are mercifully no little boxes with squares around them anywhere.

but they have to go and do this. not only is it black, i think it has the stupid boxes.

It does. I own it.

The new red Canes jerseys also still have the storm warning flags, but they're inside the collar so that you can't see them.
