Matthews woulda been number 2. he is better than Eichel.
- GardinerExpress

I've watched both players a lot for obvious reasons. And your wrong, Eichel would still go #2 this year with Matthews in this draft. Matthews would fall between 4 and 9 imo. He's good and that's why he will go #1 next year but no way is he better then Eichel.

So Jakob Chychrun is no longer draft eligible next year? From what I've read, he was the consensus #1 for next year.

subban is an extremely dynamic player, and is such a weapon from the point. but hes so ordinary defensively.

in a tight checking series like this where you cant make any mistakes, I take hedman over him any day.
much like last year against mcdonagh

stralmans been way better than pk as well

Yeah, I'd hate to have to follow a team that gave up on him so early...oh, wait.

And on a Devo related note, I just found out last week that they once played with Neil Younge!

Don't get me wrong I would love to have muzzin on my team and so would any other team... But to say he's better than doughty, weber, Keith , suter is laughable. Just for an example of let's say you were to trade a player and the teams offered you Hamilton, jones, ekblad, hedman, mcdonagh or muzzin straight up for your player who are you going to take. Muzzin is a ways a way from being a top 15 dman

I couldn't disagree more. What you actually mean is that Muzzin is ways away from being a defenseman with a top 15 reputation.

If it's just because of Doughty, how come there aren't more partners of great defenseman putting up his numbers? Anyway you slice it Muzzin has been one of the top players in the NHL for several years.

Eichal is a full year older, so comparisons are not very fair or even possible. There is some starkly revealing data that suggests kids born between January and April are vastly more successful than kids born Sept-Dec. And not just hockey, we're talking everything.

The theory is that when you're young, what seems like a marginal age differences is actually massive and years competing against younger, weaker competition builds confidence and adds opportunity.

That is awesome. Back when I was a Neil Young obsessed highschool student, it was this collaboration (which I learned about from one of the several Neil Young books I bought) that lead me to discovering Devo.

Several years? He's only been in the league for 3 years and this past season was easily his best.
