A lot of goalies have those kind of years. If u break it down by decade there is only 5 consistent superstar goalies in every era and the rest are up and down through their career. Look at Anderson and smith for example, both had a few years where they got their teams in the playoffs when they had no business making it and now they're playing mediocre and their teams are right where they belong.

Fans hopes and expectations and wishful thinking is so high that the odds of disappointment are just as high.

It should be hope for the best and expect the worst, but here everyone is hoping and expecting the best only.

Was there really that many leaf fans with high expectations this year? I think most of us projected them to finish anywhere from 7th-12th. Fortunately for us our wishes were answered and they're going to finish in the bottom four and blow this poop up. If anything, now is the time to be optimistic since they're finally doing what we all wish they did 8 years ago.

he said it would be highly unlikely he get traded at the deadline. Odd are higher he gets traded in the offseason.

He may be marginally better but not worth 3 mil more a year. He is not the goalie of the future, this is just my opinion but i really hope Nonis doesn;t make the mistake of re signing him to a ridciulous contract. I actually hope they get rid of him
