Colorado is a weak team rebuilding.. they got lucky on the back of a great seasonal performance by a mediocre goalie at best. (Im not a fan of Varlamov). His numbers are cruddy this year and look where the team sits in the standing...

Jose Theodore had 1 of those years too.. and he won The Heart trophy... what did he do after that... anyone know?

A lot of goalies have those kind of years. If u break it down by decade there is only 5 consistent superstar goalies in every era and the rest are up and down through their career. Look at Anderson and smith for example, both had a few years where they got their teams in the playoffs when they had no business making it and now they're playing mediocre and their teams are right where they belong.

We are not picking top 4. We are not getting McDavid. We are not getting Strome.

You guys could use a tall refreshing glass of reality, because whatever you guys are drinking now will just lead you to choke on the eventual disappointment.

I know and that's what worries me.... they took Daniel Cleary and transformed him from an alcoholic into a very useful role players....

... they have a very smart team and hopefully we can steal Babcock from them by paying him more.... otherwise we are all in for it as Detroit will supplement their roster with top end guys for years to come!
