He may do the little things, but he doesn't do the big, important things.

No.

I think he's just injury prone. Doesn't have anything to do with his fashion sense.

It could be possible Nashville gets matched up with L.A first round and we all know the kings are a strong playoff team.. Guess i have something to cheer for this playoffs.... an early nashville exit.

4 or 5 years is the earliest. Burkie fast tracked the rebuild and look where we are. Look at edmonton. Of course, a couple lottery balls and McD can change that.

I'm kinda thinking you can get more for Kessel at the deadline.

He's not a building block. He is a guy to push your team over the top.

So I'm thinking that the best deal can be had at the deadline, when some GM gets tempted to go all in - and gets stoopid about it.

And if they trade Kessel, they are burning the boats; it's full-on reconstruction, because no UFA will want to come here. We will be building from within, because it will be our only option.

Good, we shouldn't be signing free agents anyway. The leafs model of building cup championship teams through free agency hasn't exactly panned out over the years.

If the leafs want to sign you during the summer as a free agent, that's a good indication that your career is over. Ask Colby Armstrong and Mike Komiserek. A leafs contract is the kiss of death to your career

- TincupCanuck

they are as big a disaster as the leafs

Hall
RNH
Eberle
Yakupov
Draisitl
Nurse

vs.
Kessel
JVR
Kadri
Rielly
Nylander
Bernier

It is not immediately clear which group to take

those teams have pieces that can make it work for sure

Islanders- Dal Colle, Strome, Reinhart, Pulock
Nashville- Jones, Saros, Jarnkrok, Aberg
Winnipeg- Ehlers, Morrisey, Petan, Comrie
Minnesota- Dumba, Tuch, Coyle
Calgary- Bennett, Poirer, Bartschi, Backlund
Anahiem- Theodore, Gibson, Rakell, Ritchie, Kerdiles

just a few options each team could use to build an offer around
