Not hard to imagine that on HockeyBuzz....but yeah (frank) that.... Rebuild with better players to compliment him if you don't get the return you want.....you might have to take a year or 2 of a bad contract to get the return you want though.

I think we absolutely would. Not many contenders interested in a Kessel have 8 mil in cap space for 7 more years.

The Leafs should have the cap to do it. Even then though, like you said, it would be done to get the return we want.

This Isles/ Ranger's game is awesome.

Realistically if you trade both those guys will you bring back someone who increases your chance of winning.. by themselves probably not but with a draft pick or prospect maybe... again depending on the player and the assets being given away. for example 3rd and Eller could possibly bring you a decent second line scorer who may or may not be a rental.. hopefully not though!
