That shouldnt exist.
in my opinion if you like 2 teams you might as well like all the teams. - Lee Denault
There isn't another team I could cheer for in hockey. There are some teams I admire, like Detroit. Having said that, a second NHL team in Toronto could be a gamechanger for me, depending on the ownership/ management, etc. |

Just keep on bringing in cheap vets like santorelli / Raymond etc and keep on dealing them at the deadline...

After what Ekblad has been doing so far this year he'd likely go 3. after the two 'generational talents' - Lee Denault
Exactly...
Except I think he's better then Eickel and is a big right handed shooting RD... which means his value is ++
Add to that that I think he should win rookie of the year based on play age and position and you have a true #1Dman who can be easily paired with a decent Left handed LD...

Yeah, I'm not immune to being wrong. I just don't judge prospects on early returns. |

I would cheer for that one. I want a team in Toronto win a championship (Not the argos cause I don't believe in the CFL) so I'd cheer for both if one came here. |

I was at the generals game today My first OHL game ever. Was sort of fun outside of the fact Sudbury sucks so the game was a little boring. |

what is your opinion about Matt Spencer? - Elbows15
I honestly don't know much about him... besides him being 17 and a decent sized dman.... didn't really study this guy but I did a quick google search and came up with this....

Isn't Jenner playing more wing for Columbus? - Elbows15
I've seen him play both C and wing.. depending on injuries but chances are he's playing shotgun with Johansen!! |

Kessel and a conditional 2016 3rd for O'Reilly, 1st and Sgarbossa...Toronto ' s 3rd turns into a 2nd if O'Reilly re-signs |

I hear great things about Marner and with Hunter on board I am sure he will pump up his kid. But his size is what scares me. We have Nylander who isn't big, the prospect we just obtained from the preds (marchand type they say), the kid from Sweden (can't remember his name now lol), plus brown. Seems like we are lacking size up front to protect these guys from being pushed around. We have a passive team now. Not saying Marner is soft but add in Nylander etc. and I would think we would need some big brother protection from someone. - sparky
Yes which is why Crouse would be great for Toronto.. plus we have a few guys who have size too... just not enough of them! |

That's a horrible trade. If Kessel is going to Colorado then the conversation has to start with duchene or Mack |

I think NYI lands kessel right at the last minute on trade deadline day...something like Reinhart, Dal Colle/strome. Snow wants to win now and having Tavares with kessel will be deadly. - Leafer749
in case you haven't been paying attention for the last 7 years, Snow has built the team through the draft and a few minor trades. When we needed a defenseman or two, snow waited a few months for leddy and boychuk to be available.
not to mention kessel's contract throws the isles pay scale out of whack, would also eat up too much cap space we need for our rfa's and boychuk (who is infinitely more important to our team than kessel would be)
just not happening. sorry. try florida.

you'd get neither. kessel wouldn't get you either of those two by themselves.

He's right.. Colorado would never trade either of those 2 quality guys for a meathead like kessel.... maybe RoR though.. but they'd have to include ++ and also a hefty contract to even out the cap and give them flexability moving forward when resigning MacKinnon...
Kessel is an easy commodity to trade it's a matter of finding the right pieces for both parties involved.... |

The most important par of that trade would be another 1st in this year's draft |
