just read garrioch's article.. so spezza's ntc is limited? he is only protected from going to 10 teams (in a list he made 2012)? is this true?

Seems like Chris Stewart's contract is a given. If Callahan hits the open market both Murrays will put in a bid for him.


Plus they will get something back for Spezza like a 3-5 mil player. They won't have any problem getting there.

I guess that settles it then. SpezzaMilo and Hemsky are all goners.

We'll have to see which teams flame out in the playoffs and which teams are on Spezza's no trade list

OK, I may be having a Sheldon Cooper moment and missing your sarcasm, but the way I read that article, it supports my thoughts that he will be in the opening line-up come the fall.

Ottawa will not get the return that people imagine, so he will remain a Sen.

He will then have a bounce back year (like the second half of last season) once again proving his many critics wrong.

some team will easily give up a T6 forward, a prospect, and a first. That's not that much to pay for a top 6 center capable of 80 points.
