Are you trying to tell me that Myers looks like the kid the Sabres drafted and the first year he played, free of the Lindy expectations and the sucking system. I remember blowing down the wings and firing in slappers from the boards, he now looks, clumsy, tense, scared of making a mistake. It's the small things, not hitting people, the dude is huge he should be hitting people and making the scared to come into the zone.

Your right, he's not the same player. There trying to make him something he is not. I agree he's playing timid, afraid to make the bad turnover.... However he was pretty solid today, the reason they signed Ehrhoff was to have him be the PP QB and be the one to contribute offensively and to have Myers be our Stay at home shut down guy who will also chip in. Both players are not playing their respective roles. Ehrhoff has scored only 5 goals in over 70 games here after having 14 in VAN the year before, Myers has 9 goals in his last 60 games. Our PP has been below average since Ehrhoff was put on the first unit, he does not get shots on net . The hoff has just 1 PP goal since coming to BUffalo, Myers has 4 in that same time spand in less games. These are just the facts. Niether of them are playing the way they should be

This team does not look any better then last year.

Some of these players are just not good enough. In most cases they almost are the same player which is not good!

Far too many players bring the same kind of game on this team and not enough of skill. Therin lies this teams biggest problem.

That's why if they send Grigorenko back to the Q and allow Gerbe and Ellis to waste roster spots I will be beyond fuming.

I just don't understand this team. There is some "potential" offensively but I just think Lindy sucks at that part of coaching. His lines make no sense.... Grigs with Hecht and Scott? who in their right mind would waste the kids potential with those two lunkheads? Defensively they are still too passive and weak.... Goaltending sucks after Miller...

Yeah, I know he is getting sounded out, but to me from what I have seen of the games, he seems to have fallen off the most, it actually looks like quite a few of the players were actually ready for the season to be lost.

You make an interesting point about Hoff though, what do you guys think of the "self-perceived" worth thing ? I honestly think some of these guys and you cannot blame them for taking the money, but I reckon a LOT actually know they are not good enough for that money, yes we overpaid for Erhoff and Leino and I think the contracts almost weigh on their minds. I reckon Redden will settle down now he is getting paid a lot less with the Blues.

his first 2 years with the kings, got 48 and 52 points

his best years under ruff, 45, 37 and 34 points

I like 44 he is a solid d-man and only makes 2.75, I've always defended Andrej.

sooo....in conclusion:

-Myers SUCKS and should be traded
-Lindy should be fired; Regier has to make a signature move or he too should be fired
-Terry Pegula has to say something to back up his commitment to winning
-Gerbe and Ellis should not be on the roster
-Stafford should also be traded, he does nothing for this team
