Sather probably did this ahead of the Weber resolution to get the Flyers to panic and overpay. We shall see if he succeeds.

Rangers got the best player, but it isnt as bad as some are portraying. I factor is Nash being highly over rated. Dubinsky is a solid player as in Anisimov.

I think the Rangers may have gained 5 or 10 goals, but have hurt themselves in the defense, grit department.

On the good side, The Ryan market just got a little more affordable if the Flyers decide to go that route if the Weber deal falls through.

i think they will be running low on prospects/young forwards after this Weber deal (along with picks) to make a real offer for Ryan unfortunately.

but Doan AND Ryan would be cool....wouldn't be as sexy of a deal for Doan w/out Weber tho
