The Calgary Flames play preseason game number four tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. The roster will be quite similar to Wednesday’s game against the Kraken with a few lines changed around. Let’s get into it.

Tkachuk-Lindholm-Coleman
Gaudreau-Richardson-Mangiapane
Dube-Backlund-Ritchie
Kirkland-Froese-Duehr

Zadorov-Andersson
Kylington-Tanev
Mackey-Gudbranson

Markstrom
Wolf

Richardson centering Gaudreau and Mangiapane
Good Lord. This is going to be a “can’t miss” game. Richardson is in the twilight of his career and was never particularly fast. He looked moderately craft last game, but his skating was an issue. He struggled. This will be a fun line to observe. This will, in all likelihood, be your only chance to see Richardson on a line with Johnny Hockey.

Markstrom and Wolf’s preseason debut
The big Swede is starting tonight and it will be interesting to see if he’s fully healthy. When he is 100% he is absolutely dominant. The challenge this season will be staying healthy. With any luck Wolf will get a period or half the game to see how he plays against NHL shooters.

Kylington gets another chance to impress
Ryan Huska, Calgary’s Defence Coach, did an interview with Pat Steinberg following Wednesday’s game. He pointed out Kylington as, in his opinion, Calgary’s best defenseman in the 4-3 shootout loss. It appeared Darryl Sutter agreed as Kylington led the Flames in ice time that evening. Tonight he’ll get another look with Calgary’s consensus best defenseman last season, Chris Tanev. Here’s hoping Oliver keeps it going.

Enjoy the game, guys!
