The Worst Thing About Every NHL Team - Part 3 |
|
|
|
Twenty teams down, eleven to go. Enjoy your Friday, have a couple of laughs and we will get back to our regular Oilers content shortly.
Ottawa Senators: It's just too easy. I don't want to kick a team too much while they are down but I am curious to see what happens next season when 3/4 of the Sens roster is up for new contracts. All I will say is this... maybe during orientation this season, make sure that all the players know that Uber drivers may record what you say from time to time.
Philadelphia Flyers: Philly is where goaltenders go to die. Carter Hart seems like a pretty nice guy and has phenomenal talent but you just know that he is going to have his best years as soon as he signs with another team.
Pittsburgh Penguins: The name. Your team name sounds like one picked by a grade one kickball team that just discovered in class what a penguin was.
San Jose Sharks: You unleashed Drew Remenda upon Edmonton and forced Oilers fans to listen to him accidentally call the Oilers the Sharks... for years.
St. Louis Blues: For playing the old "lull the other team into a false sense of security" strategy... and having it actually work. Going from the bottom team of the league in January to Stanley Cup Champions.
Tampa Bay Lightning: For ruining my playoff bracket.
Toronto Maple Leafs: For consistently giving the Bruins a first round bye.
Vancouver Canucks: Whenever anyone makes any joke or comment about a sports team rioting after a loss, the 2011 Vancouver Riots always come up. You made Canadian hockey look bad and people don't forget that too easily.
Vegas Golden Knights: For also ruining my playoff bracket. Yeah it was a horrendous call... allowing four goals on that penalty was even worse.
Washington Capitals: Tom Wilson's hit to the head. No not that one, the other one... not that one, the other one... not that one...
Winnipeg Jets: Stop yanking around your future. Pay Connor and Laine the money they deserve.
There you have it, enough hate for everyone. Happy Friday!
