As expected, Mackenzie Blackwood (heel) and Jack Hughes (shoulder) are out tonight along with Jonathan Bernier and Miles Wood.
Smith and Hamilton pairing?
As much I love the Graves and Hamilton Twin Towers pairing, pairing Ty Smith and Dougie Hamilton together can be equally a lethal one-two offensive punch on the blue line. Pairing Ryan Graves with Damon Severson is not a bad pairing either. Let's see how they match up against the Flames tonight.
Nico Hischier most likely will be centering Yegor Sharnagovich and Janne Kuokkanen on the first line. Putting Dawson Mercer with Pavel Zacha and Tomas Tatar will create some magic offensively. Mercer has great vision and having Zacha battling in the corners with Tatar ready for the puck in the slot will create offensive changes. Let's see how they fare against the Flames defense.
Blake Coleman will be playing tonight against his former team. He said the Devils were the three finalists before picking signing with Calgary.
