The start of training camp came in full swing as players and coaches talked to the media about the upcoming season. A sense of optimism was in the air as "winning" was on the minds of the players. Here are a few things that caught my attention:
1. Nico Hischier is 100% healthy. He dealt with a leg injury, battle with Covid, and a sinus fracture last season.
2. Pavel Zacha is playing center.
3. Jesper Bratt has put on some muscle and wanting to take on a leadership role. He also worked with a shooting coach in the past six weeks.
4. Tatar is on a mission with something to prove.
