The Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets have no love lost between them. Games between the two teams are incredibly physical as of late.

For the second consecutive matchup between these two teams a member of the John Tortorella led Columbus Blue Jackets has assaulted a Pittsburgh Penguin with crosschecks to the head. The previous incident involved Brandon Dubinsky clubbing Sidney Crosby.

Tonight's incident happened at the end of a 5-2 Penguins victory and involved Dalton Prout and Sergei Plotnikov. Prout was given a double minor for crosschecking.

This is insane.
