Best player additions: Pacific Division |

Here are some of the best player additions (rookies excluded) for each team in the Pacific Division
Anaheim - Andrej Sustr
A decent enough option for a depth defenseman. He is an automatic upgrade over the departing Kevin Bieksa.
Arizona - Alex Galchenyuk
You have a player who was never given a chance yet still had good rate stats and passing ability. Increasing his quality of teammate should pay dividends for the Coyotes
Calgary - Noah Hanifin
Calgary went out and made a huge trade bringing in Noah Hanifin and Elias LIndholm, but that cost them the best player in the deal (Dougie Hamilton). Hanifin is definitely the more valuable asset the Flames got in return for Hamilton.
Edmonton - Kyle Brodziak
After being a collosaul disappointment last year the Oilers best addition is... Kyle Brodziak. Another Connor McDavid MVP caliber season down the drain?
Los Angeles - Ilya Kovalchuk
He's talented and older. He will fit right in the Kings lineup. I'm very interested to see if Kovalchuk can come back to the NHL and still be an offensive force. It's a good risk reward signing for the Kings because Kovalchuk was an elite player and those guys tend to age better.
San Jose - N/A
Evander Kane is technically not an addition at this point, but that was the Sharks big addition at the trade deadline. San Jose had a lot of housekeeping items to do this summer and as a result did not go out and make any significant additions.
Vancouver - Antoine Roussel
A fine depth addition for the Canucks that will be washed out by the Jay Beagle acquisition. The Canucks will be playing without the Sedin twins since the globe was recovering from the Y2K crisis. They are stuck in neutral which is a bad place to be.
Vegas - Paul Stasty
Great addition for the Golden Knights. It was a necessary addition after losing both James Neal and David Perron. This gives Vegas a legit second line center with reasonable term. It was one of the better signings of the offseason.
