Palmieri and Zajac to the Isles, both 50% salary retained.
Devils get back a 2021 1st, 2022 conditional 4th, AJ Greer, and Mason Jobst

Getting a First Rounder was nice.

What do you think of this deal?

Here are some notes on Greer and Jobst

Greer:
Acquired by the Islanders from the Avalanche. Power-forward who needs to take the next step to stay relevant.
Greer is not your typical power forward who can only hit and grind. His skating and agility helps him move around the ice very well. His work ethic is second to none and he has the tools to develop an underrated offensive game if given time.

Jobst
A Hobey Baker finalist, and undrafted was signed as a free agent by the Isles.
Impressive overall game and hockey IQ.

The Devils bid farewell two players who have spent some time with the Devils and has seen it's shares of ups and downs. Good luck to them.

Now let's wait for other dominos to fall in Kulikov and Vatanen. Does Fitz have any surprises before the deadline?
