Marko Dano will make his Avalanche debut on the fourth line with Tyson Jost, who has been demoted from the second line, when the team faces Philadelphia on Monday to conclude its four-game road trip.

Dano was claimed on waivers from Winnipeg a week ago.

The Avalanche (5-2-1) went 2-0-1 in the first three games of the trip.

Sven Andrighetto will move from the fourth line to the second with Alexander Kerfoot, who will be at center, and right wing Colin Wilson.

The top line of Gabriel Landeskog, Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen has combined for 17 goals and 21 assists.

The rest of the forwards have just 11 goals and 11 assists.

"They haven't been getting any production, so we are kind of looking for options," coach Jared Bednar told reporters after the morning skate. “In my opinion, we got a bunch of guys auditioning for a second line, a line that can help us produce offensively. We are going to keep looking at guys and trying to put guys in different spots so we keep moving this team forward."

Jost, the Avalanche’s first-round pick (No. 10) in the 2016 NHL draft, has one goal and one assist.

Landeskog was named the NHL's First Star for the week ending on Oct. 21. He had six goals, including his third career hat trick, and an assist in three games. MacKinnon and Rantanen have eight-game point streaks.

Semyon Varlamov will start in goal. He has a 3-0-2 record with a 1.77 goals-against average and .948 save percentage.
