First off, for the latest Sens updates, please follow me on Twitter at

Give me a twitter follow, I will give you a follow too!

First off, congrats to Rebekah for winning the Sens tickets to the SJ game tonight. Outstanding job by her on picking some nice road wins on the 15 games fans had to pick for the contest. I will post the new Sens ticket contest tomorrow in my blog. Plus, a big thank you to everyone who posted their thoughts in regards to the Sens low attendance/Eugene Melnyk issues. I will be putting together a letter from all the hockeybuzz comments and Twitter comments in the coming days. I look forward to doing that for all the Sens fans and it will be posted here in my blog in the near future!

Tonight, we get to see Ottawa back in game action after having a few days off of no games. The Sens will have three games in the next 5 days on this mini homestand. As I mentioned before, piling up points early on in the season will be key, as Ottawa has 15 games in 27 days starting November 1st.

Brady Tkachuk makes his season debut in the line up tonight and Matt Murray gets his first start of the season in goal, here's hoping Murray isn't off his game after the twelve day break. As for other line-up changes, it looks as though the defense pairings will stay the same. Someone will come out of the line-up on the 4th line with Tkachuk returning. It will be interesting to see if DJ Smith rewards the proper players for the 4th line. Sadly, the coach has sent a mixed message to the team when it comes to rewarding some players with continued ice-time even though they continuously make the same mistakes, while other players who make one mistake find themselves benched for an entire period. The double standard needs to end before the coach causes issues in the locker room.

Parker Kelly is the odd man out on the 4th line. He has done everything you could ask of him, while Sanford hasn't earned the spot ahead of Kelly. Another head-scratcher by the coach.

Tkachuk Norris Batherson
Paul Pinto Brown
Stützle Tierney Formenton
Sanford Shaw Ennis

Chabot Zub
Del Zotto Zaitsev
Holden JBrown

Sens fans get to see Jonathan Dahlen, a former 2nd round pick by Ottawa that was traded to Vancouver as part of the Alex Burrows deal four years ago. He scored two goals against
Montreal on Tuesday night, while former Sen Erik Karlsson had a three point night(1G,2A). Former Ottawa 67's captain's Logan Couture and Jake Middleton return to their old stomping grounds too. Puck drop is 7pm EST and you can watch on TSN5 or listen to it on TSN1200.

I will be back within an hour of the game finishing to post my post-game blog.
Thanks for reading.
