The Ottawa Senators kick off the pre-season tonight in Winnipeg at 8pm EST when they visit the Jets. This will be the first of six pre-season games with Ottawa hosting Toronto on Wednesday night with fans in attendance for the first time in 18 months! Tonight’s game can be seen on TSN3.

Here is tonight’s 25 man roster, subject to change but this is what the Sens Communications sent out on Saturday.

Goaltenders -

Forsberg, Anton
Gustavsson, Filip
Meriläinen, Leevi

Defencemen -

Zub, Artem
Brown, Josh
Brannstrom, Erik
Heatherington, Dillon
Guenette, Maxence
Thomson, Lassi
Aspirot, Jonathan
Mete, Victor

Forwards -
Center
Pinto, Shane
Greig, Ridly
Agozzino, Andrew
Kastelic, Mark

Left Wingers -
Formenton, Alex
Kelly, Parker
Reinhardt, Cole
Åberg, Pontus
Järventie, Roby

Right Wingers -
Watson, Austin
Shaw, Logan
Sherwood, Kole
Ennis, Tyler
Sokolov, Egor

When looking at the forward group I am keen to see how Egor Sokolov, Parker Kelly, Cole Reinhardt, Mark Kastellic and Ridly Greig fare. On the back end I will be keeping a close eye on Lassi Thomson and Erik Brannstrom. While in goal, it will be interesting to watch all of the goaltenders each pre-season game, but Filip Gustavsson will most certainly be the one Sens fans watch closely to see if he can build off a strong finish to last season.

I will update the line combinations as they become available throughout the day.
I am curious to hear what players Sens fans are keen to see in pre-season action tonight.

Enjoy some Sens hockey for the first time since May 12th when Ottawa beat Toronto in OT!
Thanks for reading.
