After splitting two pre-season games against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, the Ottawa Senators have three more pre-season games this week, starting with a tilt tonight in Winnipeg. To say that the Sens are icing the bare minimum of eight veterans is an understatement as plenty of the Sens prospects will get a second in the pre-season tonight. Below are the team's line-ups.

After the Ottawa 4-2 win on Saturday night, many Sens fans wondered if head coach DJ Smith would ever act on what he tells the media regarding his plans with the blue line. After last season's player exit interviews and just a few weeks ago when speaking to the media, Thomas Chabot has gone on record saying he can't be playing 27-30 minutes a night anymore and it needs to be scaled back to the 22-23 minute range so he can limit the mistakes from physical/mental fatigue. Yet on the first day of pre-season games, Chabot played 27 minutes against the Leafs in the second game on Saturday! How on earth do you play Chabot this much in a meaningless pre-season game? Until this head coach finally demonstrates that he will distribute the minutes properly on the blueline while playing the youth ahead of aging veterans, Sens fans won't believe a thing that comes out of his mouth.
It'll be nice to see the likes of Angus Crookshank, Mark Kastelic, Parker Kelly, Tyler Boucher, Lassi Thomson, Erik Brannstrom, and JBD get quality minutes against a very strong Jets line-up.
TV line-up for viewers in Ottawa this week for all pre-season games. With three more games next week.
