While the Bruins, Blue Jackets, Hurricanes, Islanders, Sharks, Avalanche, Stars and Blues are still vying for the Cup, the Canadiens are busy throwing shade at Game of Thrones:

Or telling us about Dale Weise's new twins:

While this is not the most thrilling time of the year for Habs' fans there are still some things to look forward to for those who have been around for some time and enjoy collecting items relating to the team. For instance, this weekend, the Stade Dupont Ford in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu will play host to Le Salon du Collectionneur. I'll admit I've not attended that event in the past years but they found just the ticket to tickle my fancy this year. On Saturday, at 12:30, 6 players who took part in the 1993 Cup conquest with the Habs will be on hand to sign autographs:

Patrice Brisebois
Stéphane Lebeau
Jesse Bélanger (While he did not play in the Cup final, he played 19 regular season games and 9 playoffs games and even though he didn't meet the requirement to get his name on the Cup, his name was still engraved)
Benoit Brunet
Mario Roberge
Oleg Petrov (Petrov's name is not on the Cup as he did not meet the requirements having only played 9 regular season games and 1 playoff game)

For a few years now, I've been trying to get my 1993 mini Stanley Cup signed but all the players who were part of that conquest so this will help. So far, I managed to get the following signatures: Keane, Bellows, Brisebois, Savard and Leclair.

It's worth mentioning that Le Salon du Collectionneur is not solely about sports or hockey so there will be plenty to see and do to entertain plenty of people. 200 kiosks will be taking part in the event and Playstation of America will be in attendance so there should be some cool games to try out. Be aware that kids come in for free though so consoles might be in very high demand.
