As phase 3 nears, more and more players are coming back to Montréal. 4 days ago, Dale Weise flew back to town and since he was in another province, he has to isolate for 7 days.

To kill time, he decided to do a Twitter Q and A with fans. Here are some of the questions he answered:

-What unique personal challenges does the return to play format create?
DW: Well, I have to isolate for 7 days after training extensively so that's not easy! And to be honest, we will feel our way out through the process everyday it will be different!

-Does the Covid test hurt?
DW: Big time, take a swab shove it as far up your nose as you can for ten seconds!

-Am I still your favorite line mate (Question from Tom Sestito)?
DW: Easily my favourite buddy hope you're well

-What's the best thing a young athlete can do to stay in shape at home? Do you have a specific program you could suggest?
DW: Circuit training, do 10 different exercises 30 on 30 off x 3. I mean you can be creative simple stuff, push ups, sit ups, burpees, high knees, plenty of things if you have no equipment.

-What's the loudest rink you have been in?
DW: Playoffs Bell Centre

-You've been a strong playoff performer which is where you made such a name for yourself with the Habs. How do you like your chances of playing in the play-in round and how will you help the team win?
DW: I think everybody has a chance at this point it's going to be wild!

-How's the family?
DW: My family is incredible my twins are talking and running around and my 6 month old pup is the best, thanks for asking!

-How do you feel about being in a hub city possibly for weeks without seeing your family?
DW: Don't feel very good about it at all
(He didn't answer the follow up question when I asked him if that could prevent him from voting in favour of the tentative agreement which is currently being negotiated.)

-What was one of the bigger learning moments while playing in the minors early in your career for the AHL Hartford Wolfpack? Remember we were teammates once (question asked by Brandon Wong)?
DW: Haha the grind of the pro game I think, how long the season is and especially the travel in the AHL it was all huge Learning moments.

-What's the number on thing you're looking forward to when you reunite with all the boys?
DW: Just being with the guys, it ended so abruptly and that was it. So just getting back together will be great.

-Were you ever intimidated by Lucic?
DW: LOL wouldn't you be?

He didn't answer every question of course but it's still interesting to see a pro athlete interact with fans in this way on social media. It will be interesting to see if Weise does manage to crack the line-up for the play-in round if Claude Julien can count on all of his players. Considering the Kotkaniemi, Drouin and Byron are now healthy, there will be few line-up spots up for grabs...Back in the Spring of 2014, Weise played 16 playoffs game with the Habs and racked up 7 points in the process. The following Spring, he featured in 12 games and gathered 3 points.
