Last night’s win over the Isles was more than a welcome sight in Detroit. The team kept going and found a way in the third to get a regulation win.

Today’s off day sees the other interview with the Griffins coaching staff in former Griffin and Red Wing Brian Lashoff talking about hanging up the pads and putting on the tie!

We, of course, talked about the Griffin’s success. It’s a good atmosphere on the west side. Brian talked about the quick transition from player to assistant coach. The shift from being the Captain at the meetings to being someone who is running the meetings. We talked career, his ability to stay within the Detroit organization for his entire adult career, and it was interesting to get a player’s thoughts on the new CHL transfer deal to the NCAA.

I hope you enjoy a quick chat with assistant coach Lashoff as we get ready for another Detroit game tomorrow.
